María – uniting dreams with reality
María, born on the Spanish North Atlantic coast and deeply rooted in the Ruhr area, mother of three bilingual children (German-Spanish), has a passion for helping people turn ideas into reality. Experienced Birkman specialist and co-founder of the international education company linguland.com and Lead5050, an NGO that promotes women in leadership positions. María has traveled the world to get to know people, their motivations and dreams in an authentic way; in the process, she developed a deep connection to Germany, its culture and language.
In more than two decades of encouraging people to learn languages abroad, María knew that Germany was more than just a destination for language trips - it was also a country with the potential to become a home for qualified people and their dreams. For Maria, Germany is the true land of opportunity. With "My German Dream" she now wants to support people from all over the world to develop their potential in Germany and help her adopted homeland to meet the challenge of the shortage of skilled workers.
